DANCE FOR ACTORS

A great way to build confidence and skills for musical theatre auditions! Each class will introduce new steps and tackle a different style of musical theatre dance.

LEVEL UP YOUR IMPROV

In this workshop we will tackle methods from Viola Spolin, Second City, and Whose Line Is it Anyway? (among others!) to keep your creativity flowing and take your improv skills to the next level.  And we will laugh a lot.  Guaranteed.

MASTER THE MONOLOGUE

From choosing the right piece to finding the most variety in your performance we will dive into the myriad ways to master the monologue!

SECRETS OF THE SONG

Learn tried and true methods for ensuring your solo soars vocally and through physical and emotional connection. Perfect for helping you prepare your Thespy/competition piece or musical/college audition!

THE PHYSICALITY SOLUTION

Discover techniques that showcase how physicality can bring subtle and meaningful depth to your characters.  Pulling together work from Laban, Descartes, Stanislavsky, and other luminaries you are guaranteed to come away with a new appreciation for how movement integrates with your acting.

FIGHT ME! (Stage Combat)

Actors love fighting and we’ll learn the safe and effective ways to make others believe that your stage battles are real. From hand to hand to fencing techniques we’ll touch on a variety of different ways to make your theatrical combat free from danger - but look dangerous!

AUDITION CRASH COURSE

We’ve taken our 6 hour workshop and condensed it into a fast but incredibly beneficial class that gives you practical ways to be the most prepared person in the room!

MAKE ME FUNNY!

Unlock the secrets to comedic timing by exploring physical and vocal techniques that utilize the methods that entertainers have developed over the years to make people laugh!

COLLEGE THEATRE BOOTCAMP/COLLEGE MUSICAL THEATRE BOOTCAMP

Get a taste of what a college BFA/BA theatre or musical theatre program is like as we explore a variety of different techniques/methods used in departments around the nation covering voice, acting and movement/dance.  At the end of the session parents are welcome to join their child for a Q&A regarding what the process of auditioning for college programs looks like as well as resources that can help.  This session is perfect for students who are interested in possibly majoring in theatre or musical theatre in college.
